THE BRONX

LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!

LET'S FIRST HONOR AMERICA AND SALUTE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FLAG IN THE WORLD!!!

Did you know...

Back in the 1800s, when you asked a Bronx resident where he or she lived, they no doubt would have answered, "I'm from MOTT HAVEN, TREMONT, WILLIAMSBRIDGE, MORRIS PARK, MORRISANIA, WEST FARMS, HUNTS POINT or whichever happened to be his place of residence.

Also...

In the 1800s, fighting among kids in The Bronx was highly discouraged.  However, some fights would take place among some local kids and when they did, these more often than not, ended after a few minutes with a smile and a handshake.

WHAT'S A BRONX?

For those of you who don't know this...
New York City is made up of five boroughs.  They are:  Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island and of course The Bronx

This web site is (in my opinion) about the best borough of all.  THE BRONX!   Although we try to cover the history of The Bronx here, this web site is by no means conclusive.

Get to know THE BRONX!   There's more here than just Major League Baseball and four-legged furry creatures!   The Bronx is rich in history!

There are hundreds, if not, thousands of books that depict The Bronx and its wonderful history.   I hope this web site can give you a head start.

This web site is huge, so try to make time to see it completely.  Make sure you "bookmark" us (Control+D), so you can return easily.   Also, please make sure your speakers are on.

This web site is now interactive.

So you think you know all about The Bronx?

Get to really know The Bronx!   You'll be surprised how much history and nostalgia our wonderful borough really has!
