Here's a photo of Fordham Hospital in the 1940s. This was a major city
hospital and it happened to be on Southern Boulevard and Fordham Road in The Bronx. We can see some taxicabs arriving
at the main entrance perhaps bringing visitors to see patients inside. - Photo

This is Bronx Park East and Pelham Parkway as it looked back in 1941 when this photo
was snapped. Those are newly built Art Deco apartment buildings on the left. The sign on the top side
of one of the buildings advertised apartments from 1 to 5 rooms available for rental. Bronx Park can be seen
across the street from the buildings on the right side of the photo. Not much traffic can be seen in the street.
